Wildz Casino – Is It Legit?

Wildz is a safe and secure online casino operating under licences from Malta, Canada and Germany. It offers a good selection of games including slots and live casino games. Wildz offers adequate bonuses and their support is quick to reply to all queries.

*To be completely honest I think most of bad opinions on Trustpilot and Google reviews come from the fact that Wildz leaves the review portals to fend for themselves, they do not reply to negative comments and do not encourage happy players to leave positive reviews

Signup experience

Wildz Casino boasts a 1-minute signup process, which starts with providing an email, password, and phone number. It’s crucial to use a valid phone number since the second step requires entering a PIN code sent via SMS.

Overall, signup is a straightforward experience thanks to front-end validation of the input fields that helps you fill in correct information and quick working SMS system. The whole process takes longer than at competing brands like bc.game or wild.io where you need to fill in just email and password but is comparable to the sign-up experience at coins.game casino or 7bit.

The live stream feature is something that I think more brands should adopt, it give the players live access to the representative of the brand and adds entertainment value to each gambling session. I have not seen similar features at any of the competing brands, the only thing that comes close is ‘Livespins‘ game provider that offers the ‘bet along’ feature.

Deposit experience

Let’s make a deposit! The welcome bonus is 100% match + 200 free spins, you get issued 25 free spins per day for 8 days. If you don’t want to receive the welcome bonus you need to uncheck the bonus checkbox which is active by default. Bonus wagering is 35x, the max bet you can place with bonus money is $5 or equivalent.

Available deposit methods include Visa, Mastercard, Paysafecard, Mifinity eWallet, Neosurf, Skrill, Neteller, Payz, Muchbetter. I’ve decided for a paysafecard deposit and completed it on my phone with the mobile app.

For all available payment methods, the minimum deposit is $10 or equivalent and the minimum withdrawal is $20 or equivalent.

I wish wildz also accepted cryptocurrency deposits and, technically it is possible. Wildz is licensed by MGA which allows casinos holding it’s license to accept cryptocurrency deposits ⁴, the legal landscape is so complicated though that there are not many brands that decided to go this route. The fact that Wildz hold also licences from Ontario and Germany where crypto deposits are a big no-no, further complicates the issue.

Welcome Bonus

The casino welcome bonus at Wildz is 100% deposit match plus 200 free spins. The free spins are issued in batches of 25 free spins per day for 8 consecutive days. Everyday you receive free spins on a different game including, Sweet Bonanza, Money Train 2, Eastern Emeralds, Razor Shark, Gonzo’s Quest Megaways, Midas Golden Touch, Deadwood and John Hunter & the Tomb of the Scarab Queen.

Sports welcome bonus at Wildz is also a 100% deposit match bonus + $50 free bet. You can make bets with bonus money only on outcomes with 1.40 minimum odds.

Levelz

Every time you place a bet at Wildz your level progress bar goes up. When you reach a new level you get a free Spin on a Wildz mini slot. I’ve won five free spins on Joker’s jewels and I’ve won a total of 0.00 euros from those five free spins.

Spinback

Spinback is another promotion where you can earn some free spins. When you play the slot game Sweet Bonanza or John Hunter and tomb of the Scarab Queen after a streak of five losing spins you’ll be awarded one spinback. When you collect five spinbacks, you will be able to use them on the game John Hunter and the Book of tut.

VIP programme

Wildz VIP program is called Loyalty+, It is extremely straightforward as it’s simply offers cash back up to 20%. It is paid out weekly and can be used on any of the Rootz ltd brands including Wildz, Caxino, Wheelz or Spinz. To be honest, it’s a very good offer but it lacks.. panache and could use a visual progress bar so that I can track how my cashback grows as I spend more.

Other promotions

On top of these promotions you will also find ‘offers’ which are regular network promotions and tournaments on games by different providers

If you want to score some Wildz free play bonus codes, visit their official Discord. It’s quite active you will find the latest announcements there, you can also share your big win or a photo of your dog.

Game selection

The number of games available at Wildz depends on the location you’re accessing it from but in most places it adds up to a bit over 3,000 games. There are no fancy filtering or sorting options but you can use the game name, provider or tag in the search bar and you will usually find the game you are looking for.

Slots

When it comes to online slots, or pokies as I should call them since the casino is popular in New Zealand, Wildz offers a good selection of providers like Netent, Pragmatic, QuickSpin, Relax, Microgaming etc.

The slots page at Wildz categorizes games by high volatility, megaways, classic slots, drops & wins, sticky wilds, expanding features, win both ways, cascading symbols, respins and few theme related categories. To see games arranged by provider name you need to go to the ‘All games’ section.

While testing Wildz casino I’ve played Gonzos Quest, Book of Dead, Gates of Olympus and then I moved on to live casino games.

Live Casino

As I continued the testing I noticed that Wildz offers a branded live casino blackjack from Evolution gaming so I fired up the game. The table was empty and the dealer was giving such weird vibes that I’ve left and played some roulette instead.

Apart from the blackjack game, Wildz also has a private american blackjack and roulette tables. It offers games from Evolution gaming, Pragmatic play, Stakelogic, On Air and Quick Spin.

Provably Fair

As to be expected from a non-crypto casino Wildz does not offer original, provably fair games which are usually my favorite. Fortunately there is a good selection of provably fair instant games from third party providers. You can find them at the bottom of ‘Popular’ game tab under ‘Instant Wins’.

Wildz Sports

Wild Sports is a new addition to the site and you can see that the UX is not yet polished. For most of the games you get live stats or live stream. I’ve unfortunately lost my bet on table tennis game with extremely long odds.

UX & Aesthetics

From the ux and Aesthetics point of view Wildz is a very simple website. It’s heavily optimized for mobile but on desktop looks a bit empty.

I wish there were more filtering options for the games. However, the thing that really bugs me is the way that the promotions and bonuses are displayed. Right now the only place where you can see all the Wildz bonuses is the All Bonuses page which is basically a blog page.

I wish Wildz had a bonus dashboard similar to what BC.game or Coins.game offers.

Responsible Gambling

When it comes to responsible gambling Wildz does a really good job there is a legit responsible gambling page where you get links to resources and quizzes you can also set deposit limit, net loss limit, wager limit, time limit and self-exclude right from the my account page. If you want to self-exclude for over 30 days you will need to contact Customer Support which is completely acceptable.

Customer Support

Customer support is available in English, German, Norwegian, Finnish and French. Live chat responses from Anitta were quick and polite. There is also an extensive FAQ page and a small knowledge base available.

Security

When it comes to security one of the first frontiers is making sure that the site has an appropriate SSL certificate. In order to check the validity of the SSL click on the icon next to the URL in the web browser. Click on Certificate details and check if it was issued to Rootz Limited.

Wildz is licensed in Malta, Ontario and Germany. Only thing lacking in terms of security is availability of 2FA.

Withdrawal

Is Wildz the fastest withdrawal online casino in new zealand? I don’t know! I made two deposits, but it seems I was unlucky and I didn’t manage to win anything to withdraw.

If I had more luck however, Wildz offers withdrawal via Skrill, Neteller, Payz, MuchBetter, Mifinity and bank transfer. Minimum amount for all the options is $20.

Summary

Overall, Wildz is a good casino for players from New Zealand, Canada, Finland and Germany. Welcome bonus is decent value, there are thousands of games available including slots, live casino games and instant games. Wildz offers unique promotions like SpinBack or Levelz. Ongoing live stream is a really cool feature to bring the community together.
