LuckyBlock – Telegram or Web?

Telegram casinos are an emerging area of crypto gambling, so let me tell you a little bit more about the differences in functionality between the Lucky Block Telegram app and the Lucky Block web version.

A common negative point between both versions of Lucky Block is the lack of synchronization between the Telegram and web versions of the site. For all intents and purposes, the LuckyBlock Telegram app and Lucky Block web are different companies, and there is no way for you to log in to the web with your Telegram credentials and vice versa.

Signing up to LuckyBlock

When it comes to the Telegram app, you hardly have to sign up – you just click the ‘start’ button, and your account is ready to enable your degeneracy right away.

The signup is quick and breezy on the web, like with most crypto casinos nowadays. All you need to enter in the signup form is your email, password, and username – it will be shared with others on the top lists, but you can hide it, and a promo code. Use code DGBETZ to receive 100 Free Spins instead of the regular 50 on your first deposit.

Depositing

Lucky Block has an extensive selection of cryptos to deposit with; you can use WalletConnect for a smoother experience or buy crypto via the Changelly widget without leaving the site. The minimum deposit is $2-$5, depending on your chosen token so that you can play even for small amounts.

The Telegram app and web deposit experience are almost identical, which is a big plus. You can access transaction history in your profile. The only improvement I could suggest here is a link to a blockchain explorer so you can see how many confirmations your transaction has in case it gets stuck. It seems to be the standard nowadays at other competing casinos nowadays.

Promotions

If you’re after promotions, then you definitely want to register on the web version of Lucky Block. Due to its light weight, the Telegram app has much less to offer in terms of bonuses and gamification, although you still get access to promos shared on the official Lucky Block Telegram channel.

Welcome Bonus

Lucy Block offers a moderate welcome bonus for new players: 200% up to USD/EUR 25,000 and 50 Free Spins. Use code DGBETZ on sign-up to increase that bonus to 100 Free Spins!

To receive the welcome bonus, you need to deposit at least USD/EUR 20, the bonus amount needs to be wagered 35 times, and the maximum bet allowed is USD/EUR 5. Slots contribute 100% toward wagering requirements, live shows 50% and all other games 20%. Objectively these are very standard bonus terms in the crypto casino market at the moment.

Mid-week Reload

Mid-week reload is a straightforward deposit promo that is available every Wednesday.

Reload is valid for 2 deposits; on the first one, you get 25% up to USD/EUR 100 on a minimum deposit of USD/EUR 50. On the second deposit, you get a 35% bonus up to USD/EUR 200 on a minimum deposit of USD/EUR 150.

If you’re level 4 or higher in the loyalty program, you can add 5% to the bonus amounts.

Mid-week reload is a nice promo to squeeze some extra juice from your deposit, but the very tight min/max deposit levels make this promo appealing only to mid-sized players leaving a lot to wish for in the low and high-roller segment.

Game of the Week Missions

Game of the Week is a cool gamification tactic that gets you playing new games and presents you with the potential to earn some free spins.

The Game of the Week missions have three levels: level 1 offers 20 free spins upon completion and requires a wager of 200 USD/EUR; level 2 offers 60 free spins on a USD/EUR 500 wager, and level 3 offers 150 free spins on a USD/EUR 1,000 wager.

Tournaments

Personally, I enjoy tournaments as they get you to compete against similar degens as yourself and get you to break up your regular betting patterns. Fortunately at Lucky Block there is a good few tournaments available.

Tournaments available at Lucky Block right now are:

• Daily Slot Tournament – $300 prize pool
• Daily Blackjack & Baccarat tournament – $300 prize pool
• Saturday Lucky Slots tournament – $3,500 prize pool
• Sunday Lucky Live Casino – $3,000 prize pool

Rapid Fire Bets

Rapid fire bets is an interesting feature that shoots some long bets at you and asks you to make a quick decision.

I think it can make watching the game with your friends a lot more interesting. It’s a pity, though, that there is no live stream available next to the betting window.

VIP Club & Loyalty Program

VIP club benefits at Lucky Block are at the same level as at some big competitors like stake.com or BC.game, even if the scheme is less complex overall.

The table you can find on the Lucky Block website is not completely clear, so let me recreate it in a more readable way. To reach each level you need to collect points, points are awarded as follows:

• Slots: 1 USD wager = 3 points
• Sports: 1 USD wager = 2 point
• All other games: 1 USD wager = 1 point

It’s a pity the loyalty program doesn’t have an overarching theme and uses generic names like ‘Master’ or ‘Tycoon’, but it offers good value to the players, so I shouldn’t complain.

Telegram Promos

Nothing convinces me more that a casino is legit than a vibrant community behind the brand. Lucky Block has an 8,000+ people strong community on Telegram, which really adds a lot of trust to the casino.

There are some weekly promotions available in the telegram group that are not available anywhere else, like weekly trivia, games night, etc, which bonds the community together.

Game selection

Lucky Block now offers 3,000+ games, which is less than some of the competing brands like Vave, TrustDice, or BC.game. However, it’s on the same level as other Telegram casinos like TG.casino or MegaDice, so I cannot be too harsh here.

As you know, I’m a big fan of original, provably fair games. Lucky Block’s lack of such games is a big strike for me. However, Lucky Block recognized the need for such games and partnered with Hacksaw Gaming to develop a branded Plinko game. What I like about the game is 3500x multiplier you can hit when playing on high risk, what I dislike is the fact you can barely read the multiplier at the bottom of the screen even when playing on desktop. I would expect a lot better UX from a provider like Hacksaw.

Slots

As I already mentioned, Lucky Block has ‘only’ 3,000 games available, but you can still find all your favorite slot games. There is a good selection available from Pragmatic Play, Hacksaw, Relax, Netent, Microgaming, and many others.

While testing LuckyBlock, I’ve played Gates of Olympus, The Dog House, Big Bass Bonanza from Pragmatic Play, Chaos Crew 2, RIP City from Hacksaw, Butterfly Staxxx, and Dead or Alive from Netent. All of these slot games loaded smoothly, and they were original games loaded securely from respective providers. I encountered no issues.

Live Casino

If you enjoy playing roulette, baccarat, blackjack or other tables games you will be happy to know that Lucky Block offers games from Evolution and Pragmatic Play Live which should cover all of your live dealer games needs.

I’ve played mostly live roulette this session. I’ve been switching between Xxxtreme Lightning Roulette, Red Door Roulette and Immersive Roulette and really enjoyed the experience. Check out my Instagram for an awesome 700x win I’ve landed on Lightning roulette when I was testing the Red Dragon Strategy.

Sports betting

I placed a few sports bets on Lucky Block and despite my complete lack of luck in sports, I enjoyed using the platform.

LuckyBlock offers a good selection of sports to bet on, including Football, Tennis, Rugby, Cricket, and Basketball, as well as many e-sports like Counter-Strike, FIFA, or Dota, as well as racing, including horse, greyhound, and harness racing.

The odds are not far from market leaders and UX is top-notch. You can watch live streams of most of the events, access detailed stats, and easily find desired sporting events due to good categorization, including special tabs for big tournaments.

UX & aesthetics

Overall, Lucky Block’s UX is at a good level. I’ve never felt lost, there were no unexpected errors, and it was rather easy to find what I was looking for.

In the Telegram app, certain shortcuts taken by the casino management are completely justifiable to make the app lighter, like having fewer languages available in Telegram than on the web or defaulting to USD as the main balance preview currency. Thanks to fewer customization options in the app, the experience is smoother, and the screen is not cluttered with too many toggles and input fields.

I feel that the brand could have spent more time making the site more aesthetically pleasing and adding more elements that fit its overall theme.

That applies to most of the gamification features; for example, Levels use generic names, and badges are simple gray shapes with a number on them. The tournament and promo page cover photos are extremely generic. I suspect Midjourney or Dall-e might have worked on those designs and not a real human being. If you’re an experienced player, you will easily spot those things.

Customer support

I feel like this is an issue with most of the Telegram casinos I’ve tested; support via the bot is painfully slow, while live chat on the site has very reasonable response times. In terms of Lucky Block, it’s still not too bad; check the screenshot below.

Outside of live chat there is a help center at the site which is basically a large FAQ section. It covers a good amount of different scenarios player may face but it lacks in-depth explanations with screenshots like the help section at TrustDice for example.

Security

In terms of security, LuckyBlock covers the basics; the site uses SSL, and you can enable 2FA on every login and see your recent bets in history. What is lacking is the ability to terminate sessions remotely in case you notice an unauthorized login, a vault functionality to store your unused balance would be a great additional as well.

Luckyblock.com is licensed and regulated by the Government of the Autonomous Island of Anjouan, Union of Comoros and operates under License No. ALSI-1423 l 1005-FI2. Anjouan casino license is not as popular, nor provides as much protection, as the Curacao license but for a no-KYC casino like Lucky Block I

Responsible gambling

As with some other Telegram casinos (I’m looking at you, MegaDice), the site offers no Responsible gambling tools at all. All you can do is reach out to support and ask for account closure. Stay safe, guys!

Withdrawal

Thankfully, during the testing session, I managed to accrue a small profit to complete a withdrawal. As you can see from the screenshot below, it took 52 minutes to process, but do not take it as an average deposit speed. Lucky Block displays a notification on your first withdrawal, letting you know that the first time you withdraw the money, it might take up to 24 hours due to additional checks for first-time customers.

These checks are done completely on the Lucky Block side; there is no need for you to submit any documents. I think it’s completely reasonable, considering that the app is available worldwide, there is no KYC, and you can score decent bonuses. I’m sure Lucky Block has to deal with a good amount of abuse from dishonest players.

I’ll keep you updated on how long it takes to process any further withdrawals in the future!

Conclusions

Overall, Lucky Block is a crypto casino worth recommending. I believe Telegram casinos will get more popular in the coming years due to availability around the world, no need for ID verification and super-fast mini-apps available right in Telegram. Moreover, Lucky Block offers a user-friendly way to deposit and withdraw, on the web users are pulled into a fun gamification process while site is quick to respond.

Make an objective decision

In order to help you make an objective decision here is a quantitive comparison of MegaDice casino to some of it’s main competitors like Stake.com, Vave, BC.game and TrustDice.

Read through the promo section above to get more info about promotions and their terms and conditions. All casinos listed in the table above have excellent payout speeds below 10 minutes for crypto transactions, and the main limiting factor is network congestion.
