7bit Casino Review – A Bit Old-school

I won a minor jackpot while reviewing the 7bit online casino, but still… I can’t say it’s a casino for everyone. Watch my full video review below to learn the pros and cons of one of the oldest crypto casinos.

PLAY NOW

7bit Casino has been on the market since 2014. Being in a competitive crypto casino market for over a decade builds the type of trust you cannot buy. Click ‘Play Now’ above to claim the exclusive bonus!

Signing up to 7bit Casino

Registration process at 7bit is easy, as with most modern crypto casinos. Simply enter your mail and password, click the link you’ve received in your inbox, and the doors to losing your financial security are now wide open, just kidding, play responsibly as you would in any other online casino and you’ll be completely fine!

As with most licensed casinos, if you want to play games from certain providers, especially live dealer ones, you must provide more details like full name, address, and shoe size. It’s a common practice and nothing to scoff at as this is what casinos need to do to keep their license (even Curaçao one). For now, though, let’s enjoy some anonymous gambling.

Depositing at 7bit Casino

As usual, I’ve opted to make a BTC deposit. If you prefer another cryptocurrency, you can choose from LTC, BCH, DOGE, ETH, USDT, XRP, TRX, ADA, or BNB for crypto transactions.

There is a good selection of FIAT currencies and payment methods, but most have a 2.5% fee on top and a minimum deposit of $15. Such good selection of local payment methods is not available at many bitcoin casinos, Lucky Block and BC.game certainly offer less, coins.game and Stake might be on par while only Bitstarz is beating it.

On top of Visa, Mastercard, PaySafe, Skrill, Neteller and Mifinity which are directly integrated to the 7bit deposit flow you can also use Changelly available in the Buy Crypto tab. Minimum deposit to buy crypto via Changelly is $30 and you can expect to be asked for the scan of your ID when your deposits exceed $200 to prevent money laundering.

My Bitcoin deposit was processed quickly, and immediately upon the confirmation notification, I took off to the gambling world. But before we elbow-deep into my degeneracy, let’s discuss the welcome bonus…

Promotions at 7bit Casino

7bit seems to have a promotion for every day of the week, and that’s how I will review their offering. Apart from the welcome bonus, of course, that is available all day, every day.

Welcome Bonus

As a reward for your first deposit, you can receive a modest 100% up to $400 or 1.5 BTC plus 100 free spins.

• The minimum deposit to receive the bonus is $20.
• Max bet is $5
• Wagering is 35x
• Live casino has a 0% contribution toward wagering
• Other games have a 5% contribution
• Slots have 100% con

The second deposit bonus is 75% up to $600. The third deposit bonus is 50% up to $800. The fourth deposit bonus is 100% up to $4000 and 50 free spins. Overall value of the welcome package at 7bit casino is comparable with other Dama NV casinos.

Apart from the welcome bonus, 7bit has a few other promotions worth checking out, details below.

Monday Offer

Monday offer is a 25% match bonus up to $500 + 50 Free Spins on a selected game (this week, Stay Frosty from Betsoft). Minimum deposit to claim this deposit bonus offer is $50, the wagering requirement is 35x and free spins max win is $500. Objectively, the Monday Reload that was the predecessor of Monday Offer was a bit better deal with a 50% cashback and 50 free spins. However 7bit has added a few additional promotions to make up for the difference so there is nothing to complain about.

Every week a different game is selected for the Monday offer to keep things interesting for the players.

Weekend Offer

The weekend offer at 7bit casino is 99 Free spins ($0.1 per spin) that you receive on a $35 minimum deposit. The wagering requirement is 35x, max win $500 and max bet you can make while playing with bonus funds is $5.

The Weekend Offer replaced Weekend Cashback that was offering 25% cashback that is now incorporated into 20% Weekly Cashback that we will discuss later in this review.

Weekly Cashback – VIP Program

7bit casino is doing some clever marketing here having two names for the same promotion. The tab under the name of Weekly Cashback on the promo page is actually the representation of the VIP Program cashback.

The amount of cashback you receive and the wagering attached to it depends on your VIP level, you earn levels by wagering money on slot games. One dollar equals one comp point. If you’re just starting on level one, you will receive 5% cashback with 35x wagering, as you progress through levels you can receive up to 20% cashback with 1x wagering (wagering that small is genuinely good deal).

On top of the increasing cashback you will unlock perks like weekly and monthly bonus, dedicated VIP manager and personalized offers.

While the VIP program offers good value overall, you can claim the benefits of the cashback only once at the end of the week. Compared to casinos like BC.game or Coins.game where cashback is available hourly, 7bit offer is clearly lacking.

Free Spins Offers

7bit is know for giving away lots of free spins on new games. In the past it used to be a New Games Bonus, now it’s simply 45 Free Spins promo.

The $25 minimum deposit is higher than usual requirement for the free spins especially considering the details of the offer. The maximum win is cut off at $500, the wagering you need to meet is 40x and the max bet you can place with bonus funds is $5.

During the time of updating this review, 7bit offers free spins on Hot Chilli Bells by Bgaming and Rise of Triton by Betsoft.

Wednesday Offer

You can get 35, 75, or 100 free spins on deposit of 20, 30, or 70 dollars, respectively. The offer is tied to a $500 max win and 35x wagering. It’s a straight-forward offer with easy to understand terms, if you’re planning to make a deposit at the casino on Wednesday you might as well claim it.

Telegram Offers

7bit has a very big, active community on Telegram where they regularly post new promotions (mainly free spins and occasional deposit match bonus offer) and interact with players. You can join here.

There are three unique promotions tied to the 7bit telegram channel.

50 Free Spins – one time reward for subscribing to the channel. You can find the promo code in the pinned message. The terms and conditions are ludicrous, minimum deposit of $25, max win of $100 and wagering requirement of 40x.

Telegram Friday Offer – Code for 111 Free Spins is posted every Friday on 7bit Telegram. Terms and conditions are equally bad as for the 50 Free Spins, $20 minimum deposit, max win of $100 and 45x wagering.

Telegram Sunday Offer – Code for 66 Free Spins is posted every Sunday on Telegram channel. Minimum deposit $40, max win $500 and 45x wagering.

Tournaments

Tournaments at 7bit used to be called ‘races’ but since the brand dropped the car theme, we’re back to calling them tournaments.

Weekly Beginners Race

This tournament offers $700 and 1500 free spins divided between the first 75 players on the leaderboard.

Usually, I recommend those beginner tournaments to my readers because even though the prize pool might be small, you’re competing against a limited amount of newbie players, so you have a higher chance of scoring a prize. I was too cocky this time, though, and it doesn’t seem like I”m going to squeeze any money out of this ‘easy’ tournament.

If you win a prize, though, it will involve 30x wagering.

If you want to participate, click ‘join’ on the race page. The user with the highest sum of bets will score the highest, while the minimum contributing bet is 0.45. I played Aztec Magic and did not have much luck.

Lucky Spin

Currently that’s the only weekly tournament available at 7bit casino. The prize is $1,500 and 1,500 Free Spins distributed between the top 75 players. Top 18 players receive cash, players below free spins. Both cash and free spins have a 30x wagering requirement.

To climb to the top spot all you need to do is make bets over $0.2 on allowed games, you can find the list of allowed games by clicking on ‘Additional Terms’ tab.

Game selection at 7bit Casino

If you’ve seen one of my live streams or YouTube videos, you already know I love playing in-house, provably fair games. You get to experience what the brand is about, play some fun new games, and be 100% sure the game is genuinely fair. 7bit, unfortunately, has no in-house games. Thankfully, they have a selection of provably fair games on top of regular online casino games like slots, blackjack, roulette, baccarat etc.

Slots

I’ve started my session with the bonus of 100 free spins I’ve received as a part of the welcome bonus. Two issues here:

1. The game didn’t want to launch in full-screen
2. I’ve won 0.6mBtc (ok, this is not something I can complain about, but come on!)

After that, I played Fruit Million from bgaming as a part of a weekly beginners race, which I mentioned earlier. I got a few decent wins but nothing to write home about.

Later, I played Elvis Frog in Vegas, Buffalo Trail, 3×3 Hold The Spin, Gates of Olympus, and Wild Spin. I had an enjoyable gaming experience and switching between games was easy. It’s that last slot that got me a minor jackpot win! Watch the video review for a replay ⬆️

Overall, 7bit offers an excellent collection of slot games. There are over 7000 games available on the site, of which 4500+ are slots. You can navigate this catalog by categories (hits, new, jackpots, etc..), by the provider, or by somewhat random collections like (high-risk, low-risk, bonus buy, fruit games, or… fishing). You cannot use two filters simultaneously, which is quite annoying.

Provably Fair

Since there are no original provably fair games available at 7bit, you get to play provably fair games from third-party providers like Smartsoft, Bgaming, Gamzix, Evoplay, Belatra, Betsoft, and Mascot.

I’ve fired up Plinko by both spribe and bgaming. How did I do it, you ask? Split screen functionality. It was not intended to play Plinko, but I couldn’t resist when I saw it.

I’ve played ‘Save the Hamster’ to close my provably fair games session. It’s crash but with a hamster in a funny hat. Funny.

Table & Live Casino Games

7bit offers a good selection of live casino games with over 450 titles. You will find all the big live dealer game providers at 7bit, Evolution, Pragmatic, and Ezugi.

I played only some roulette and Deal or No Deal during this session. I promise to do better next time, all of you blackjack fans!

Jackpots

At the time of writing, there are about 122 BTC to be won in jackpots at 7bit. Obviously, my minor jackpot win at Wild Spin is nothing compared to that, but it shows you that you can actually score a large win at 7bit! Good luck, hunters!

UX & Aesthetics of 7bit Casino

This is the department where 7bit scores relatively low. While it’s not terrible, they’re stuck in 2015, using lots of generic casino imagery and 3rd party game assets instead of creating their vibe. But that’s just me. Maybe I’m too used to the new brands like BitKong or Betfury. Contrary to my opinion, I’ve heard from some of my friends that they enjoy 7-bit’s design for its simplicity, straightforwardness, and navigation. To each its own.

UX-wise, the casino is easy to navigate on mobile and desktop. On mobile, most buttons are in the thumb zone. Search is straightforward, deposit screen easy to understand, my only complaints are related to withdrawal screen and game filtering.

The withdrawal screen does not have a max button or even an indication of your account balance (on mobile); on desktop, on the other hand, your balance is given to you in BTC, but you need to enter the amount in BTC.

When it comes to game filtering, you can’t use two filters simultaneously. You can see all slots, for example, but you can further filter down by provider.

Responsible Gambling at 7bit Casino

As with most SoftSwiss casinos, you can add a deposit limit, loss limit, or wager limit on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis. You can also limit the length of your session to minutes. If you need a longer brake, you can set a cool-off period ranging from 1 day to 6 months or completely self-exclude from 6 months up to 1 year.

If you know you have issues with staying within your budget or allotted time for gambling make sure you set appropriate limits, it takes less than 60 seconds and can save you lots of disappointments, not even talking about money.

Customer Support at 7bit Casino

I’ve encountered an issue launching a live dealer game and asked customer support for help. As usual nowadays, first, you have to answer a few questions a bot asks before being able to talk to an actual human. I think it’s a great approach, as most problems players encounter can be fixed by reading an FAQ article rather than engaging a support agent.

In this case, I decided to talk to a human. Kyle responded quickly, even though he used templated answers. Kudos to the support team!

Conclusions

Overall, 7bit is an old-school crypto casino with a very good reputation that has been maintained for years, which can’t be said about many other brands. There are many other crypto-casinos with better UX, higher-value bonuses, and a selection of in-house games. However, I still see why many players would choose to play at 7bit due to the excellent selection of classic slots and live dealer games, good support, straightforward design, fast withdrawals and, most importantly, stellar reputation.
